Our vision

At Harlesden Primary School, our vision for the PSHE Curriculum is to empower our pupils to become healthy, independent and responsible members of our society. Our PSHE Jigsaw programme promotes health and wellbeing, relationships and living in the wider world. We aim to help our pupils understand how they are developing personally and socially by addressing many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. Through our weekly lessons, children are provided with learning opportunities across and beyond the curriculum in specific lessons, circle time and other activities to enrich their experiences. They are championed to build positive and happier relationships with themselves and others. Children work together effectively in groups and individually to reflect upon the topics taught. They subsequently feel confident to share their thoughts and equally respect what others have to say.

If you require any further information about our PSHE curriculum, please contact the school and our subject leader will get back to you.
